24 Jan 08 - ACADEMY Up and Running
The first rehearsal of the relaunced Lancers Academy took place last night at "John Wheeldon Primary School" Corporation Street, Stafford.
We welcomed nearly 40 students from the school that enjoyed themselves across Brass, Drums & Guard. We look forward to seeing you all again next week, rehearsals run weekly at john Wheeldon every Wednesday from 6.30pm til 8.00pm...It was also nice to get to chat to so many of the childrens parents about how excited they were on coming along!
The Lancers Academy has been set up to make music and dance more accessible to young children. The Academy runs weekly sessions in Brass, Drums and Dance and gives an opportunity children to develop their skills whilst having fun.
If you have a child who is aged between 9 & 12 then the Academy is a fun relaxed place to learn at their own pace with other children their age group.
