06 Sept 07 - Lancers host Brass Explosion this Sunday

Stafford Lancers in Association with The British Youth Band Association (BYBA) & Stafford Rangers FC are hosting the 5th Annual “Brass Explosion Championships” on Sunday 9th September 2007.

Witness a kaleidoscope of sound, colour, music and dance to tingle the senses as 28 of the UK`s top Youth Bands converge on Stafford as part of season long battle to be crowned best in the Country!

The show starts at 10.00am and runs throughout the day, a full time table and information can be found by logging onto brassexplosion.lancers.co.uk/

Home town Band and hosts the Stafford Lancers currently topping their UK league are performing at around 12.30pm.

Also for the first time ever we have a band flying over from Ireland to take part as the event starts to attract international entries.

Organiser Dave Milton said “If you have never been to anything like this, you will be blown away by how good and exciting these bands are, come along for a fantastic day out with all the family to see the Pride of British Youth”

Entrance is £5 adults and £3 children and OAP`s, please be aware if you are travelling to the venue by car, you will need to park in a parking space on the Industrial Estate opposite.
