10 Sep 09 - Brass Explosion 2009 - Thanks
Twenty Two Bands from all over the UK & Ireland took part in the 7th annual Brass Explosion Championships, hosted by Stafford Lancers at Stafford Rangers FC.
Once again for we were fortunate to have fine weather conditions, despite the predicted threat of heavy rain, which never materialised!
A big crowd saw some very enjoyable performances across the Divisions which were all very competitive.
The Lancers gave a much improved performance to edge themselves back into the mix after a dissapointing first half of the season. At last we have real positives to take forward into the next show,and with some focussed cleaning it will hopefully take another big step forward both on the field and in the scores, fingers crossed!!
Finally we would like to thank everyone that has helped and supported Brass Explosion 2009 from our sponsors, the BE team who worked tirelessly before and on the day to help provide a wonderful contest for the Bands to take part in.
