5 July 09 - Fun & Laughter at Drayton Manor

Sunday 28th June 2009 saw The Lancers off on a much needed day out of fun and frolics at Drayton Manor Theme Park and Zoo.

The Corps performed 3 times during the day just by the meeting point and 4d cinema to members of the public wearing our 2009 T Shirts for the first time. One of the performances were watched by Scouts from Gloucester and we were approached by one of the leaders who told us they were trying to reform Gloucester Gladiators Scout Band, who once were long standing members of BYBA. An invitation was extended to them to come along to Brass Explosion in September..

The rest of the day was taken up of hours of free time going on some crazy rides and having a laugh, just what the doctor ordered.

After a couple of stressful months it was good for everyone to let off steam and just enjoy each others company.
