Over the winter period the Band continued to go from strength to strength and increased in size by a further 20% by the time we took to the field in competition.
Going up a division meant we had to perform a longer show and the repertoire we had selected was a step up in standard to match; the members were to prove they could rise to the challenge.
We travelled up and down the country appearing at nine BYBA shows winning one and coming runners up an amazing four times!
We dominated especially in the visual captions with the Guard and Display taking six trophies each over the course of the season.
Our Final League position for the year was fifth again qualifying us for the BYBA British Finals this time in Contest Class where we improved our position to forth on the day, with our Field Commander Jason Howard being crowned British Champion Contest Class!
The day after Finals the Corps made its first appearance on British National Television when it was featured on Channel 4`s "Big Breakfast" a memorable experience and bitter cold too!
